JUST LISTED! Southern Highlands Estate for $6.25
If I had a dollar for every 100-acre Southern Highlands estate with a decently mediocre 5-bedroom homestead currently on the market for between $4m and $7m, I’d have about $25. So enter a 20-acre Southern Highlands faux-estate listed for the upper end of the aforementioned range. Situated in a prime Avoca location (in the “Arc of Dreams” that runs from Sutton Forest through Avoca, Wildes Meadow, Burrawang, Kangaloon/Glenquarry, and Robertson), “Springfield Farm” is pretty generic. Yes, the property is very well maintained (think of the maintenance fees on this bad boy!), but beyond that, it’s your run-of-the-mill hobby farm for the wealthy Eastern Suburbs set. My guess is this sucker will get price chopped down a million or two and sell around the $4.5m mark. Just sayin’.
Michael Maloney of Richardson & Wrench Bowral has the listing.
